Of the numerous highlights from my time in South India, it was the individuals who had the best influence on me—the nice and cozy welcome into their tradition was completely astounding. From watching kids taking ferries to highschool in Kerala to seeing folks dressed of their most interesting garments for the Pongal Pageant, our group was in a position to take a peek into the lives of native folks, which was such a delight!
